Why can some Instagram accounts connect, and others cannot?

Instagram's rules (applies to every app)

Instagram requires every app that publishes content, including UniBeing, to go through Meta App Review before the general public can connect. Until the review is approved and the app is switched to Live mode, Instagram only allows the app's admins and testers to connect. This is a Meta platform rule. every social tool (Buffer, Later, and others) goes through the same gate.

What UniBeing is doing about it

  • App Review submission for instagram_business_basic and instagram_business_content_publish is being prepared.
  • Our Privacy Policy is published at unibeing.tech/privacy (required for review).
  • The moment Meta approves and the app is Live, any Instagram account can connect. No invitation, no tester list..

While review is in progress

You can still connect today if you are an admin or tester of the Meta app, or by using the “Connect with access token” option in Settings (works with any Business/Creator account whose token you can generate in the Meta Graph Explorer).
